I graduated as an actor from the Theater Academy in 1989. Since then I have starred in many professional theaters (city theather of Kajaani, city theather of Lahti, Tampereen Työväen teatteri, city theather of Turku, city theather of Lappeenranta, Teatteri Imatra, city theather of Hämeenlinna), theater groups, radio, television and movies. I have act and written many theather plays that are performed in restaurants. I have worked in teaching positions, including the musical theather of Lahti and Tampere ilmaisutaidon Lukio.

I have starred in musicals, children’s plays, comedies, farces, classical plays and prepared finnish premieres for first public performance. Among them is a play where I played Aino Kallas, which were performed in Teatteri Avoin Ovi 2008.

The greatest roles I have acted are Minä, Olli and Orvokki (Orvokki), Kevään herääminen (Wendla), Humiseva Harju (Emily Bronte, Catherine Earnshaw), Lokki (Nina, Masa), Solveigin laulu (Solveig), Rentun Ruusu (Ruusu), Simpauttaja (Juuli), Onnen maa (Meijerska), Aino – tahdon tämän rakkauden (Aino Kallas), Älä pukeudu päivälliselle (Susette), Niskavuoren naiset (Ruustinna), Avoin liitto- erään avioliiton tarina.

I’m remembered in the movies Kuhmon huumaa, Soutaja, Sano Oli vaan, Siivoton juttu, Poliisin poika, Punainen nauha, Vares- uhkapelimerkki and tv-series Matkalaukkukostaja, Klubi, Kotikatu and Nollatoleranssi. I am also identified from K-chain ad, where I played widow, mrs. Nikkanen.

I’m dancing and singing literate.
